Zika

Zika is a songwriter and artist from Nuuk, Greenland who moves in the deep soul-pop universe. Her music, characterized by its grounding elements and heartfelt authenticity, captivates listeners with original, self-written lyrics and melodies. Zika’s evocative voice and thoughtful compositions invite listeners to explore raw and restrained emotions through her art, creating a subtle yet memorable listening experience.


Red Rhythm & Blues

Red Rhythm & Blues is IndigiQueer music at it’s best! Creator, hand drummer, and lead vocalist, Aqua, writes songs inspired by their life experience as an Anishinaabe~Métis 2Spirit overcoming intergenerational trauma, homelessness, addictions, mental health, and violence. Accompanied by award-winning Métis fiddler Alyssa Delbaere-Sawchuck, talented Queer multi-instrumentalist Valentina Morelli, and fancy shawl dancer Nichole Levek who illuminates the poetry within the songs. This all female power group weaves the deep resonance of the hand drum, soothing sounds of strings, and unforgettable harmonies into the universal language of love. Their music is rooted in Indigenous stories of resilience. They transcend time and space and transport the audience to a place of deep peace and healing. They recently released their debut album Alive with support from OAC’s Music Recording Grant and are excited to share their soul music made of magic with the world!


Twin Flames

Twin Flames, the illustrious duo, have garnered immense recognition and acclaim in the realm of Canadian folk music. Their exceptional talent and artistry have earned them the prestigious title of four-time Canadian Folk Music Award winners, solidifying their position as the 2022 Vocal Group of the Year.
